Addresscloud completes Acturis integration
2 Minute ReadCloud-based location intelligence platform Addresscloud has announced a new partnership with leading software house Acturis, to provide highly accurate real-time risk data to users via its bespoke Intelligence API.
The partnership will give underwriters access to address-level peril risk scores for flood, subsidence, windstorm, fire and crime, as well as a full set of residential and commercial attributes at point of quote, allowing them to make better informed decisions about price, and determine the eligibility of products traded via the platform.
Acturis has built an integration to the Addresscloud API from each of the different products it transacts. Once a risk address is validated by Acturis, Addresscloud will enrich that data with peril scores, and details about the risk attributes via the API. Insurers can then use these values to assess eligibility.
Mark Varley, founder and CEO of Addresscloud commented:
“Acturis is recognised as being one of the leading software houses in the UK. This partnership will allow us to demonstrate the power of our real-time intelligence data to some of the biggest insurers in the country. By having an integration to Acturis, both existing and prospective Addresscloud customers can use our services where they transact business without having to develop new integrations which will significantly reduce the time to deploy products.”
Simon De Ferry, Commercial Product Manager at Acturis added;
“Customers increasingly expect more from their data in order to make better informed decisions on risk pricing and acceptance. Having peril data available in real-time, at point of quote is a powerful benefit to customers and supports them to quickly develop and deploy profitable products that meet their customers’ needs."
