We are delighted to welcome Dr Michael West to the Addresscloud team as our new Software Developer! Michael has joined the engineering team as a full-stack developer to support development of both new and existing services and automated data processes.
Michael joins us from SatSense Ltd; a processor and provider of InSAR data. At SatSense, he led the development of client-facing applications including APIs and a web map portal which enabled customers to interrogate billions of data points in real-time. With him, he brings a wealth of experience of utilising open-source geospatial technology to process, analyse and deliver large-scale geographic data-sets.
Michael holds a PhD in pure mathematics from the University of Southampton. During his PhD he developed an interest in software develop and pursued this as a career following his graduation in 2016. Michael holds an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from Durham and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick.
We are hugely excited about working with Mike as we build out the next generation of geocoding, geographic risk and exposure management applications for our customers. Welcome aboard Mike!
